Iron Tide Command
★★★★☆ 4.2
Iron Tide Command is for people who like to think three moves ahead. You manage a coastal settlement, balance resources, and plan expansions while dealing with rival factions. It's slow in the best way — the good decisions here are the quiet ones you make before trouble starts.
The interface took me a session to warm up to, but once it clicked the depth opened right up. Supply routes matter, terrain matters, and rushing usually ends badly. There's real tension in watching a plan come together across several in-game days.
It's not a game for five-minute bursts. Set aside a proper sitting and it rewards you. Try to play it in a queue and you'll make mistakes.
What we liked
- Deep, deliberate strategy
- Meaningful supply and terrain systems
- Rewards patience over speed
